Gears 5 MK3 Lancer Skin Does not show up in game

I purchased the MK3 Lancer off amazon and in the box, there was a code for the MK3 skin in game. I play gears off steam on PC. I added my code into the xbox conpanion app and it worked. I confirmed with xbox support that I do have that skin in my account.
I haven't had the lancer skin in my game since I've added the code two weeks ago. Has anyone had this issue? If so, how do I get the skin to show up in game?

The same thing happen to me as well, I redeemed my code and when I went to my gears on steam I had no skin. Maybe there's a way to fix this because I really want my skin.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Gears 5 through steam and gears 5 through the microsoft store are two different version.

gameplay issues on Windows 10 if you have not already.
