Gears 5 live multiplayer. Loads Map but never allows me to enter the game

I just spent the last 2 days installing and uninstalling then re installing xbox live for pc. I have played Gears 5 without issues recently. Suddenly it takes forever to log into xbox live, then get to the game, then it will show it's loading the map to play Gears 5 but never enters the game. I hear the noise like it's entering the game but just continues to load the map.

We understand that you're experiencing issues with Gears 5 live multiplayer.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps yet? If not, I recommend trying the following:

1. Restart your PC and try launching the game again.

2. Check for any updates for Gears 5 and install them if available.

3. Check for any updates for Xbox Live for PC and install them if available.

4. Clear the cache for the Xbox app by following these steps:

- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

- Type "wsreset.exe" and press Enter.

- Wait for the command to complete and then try launching the game again.

5. If none of the above steps work, try checking if other games will prevent you from playing multiplayer mode (like Minecraft).

6. Lastly, check your account privacy settings to see if you can

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please let me know and we can explore other options. Also, please let us know if you can do multiplayer mode on other games installed through Xbox app.

my son got a code for $5 to down load a map pack. is this also not available? they told him at the store to enter the code and he would have the map, he's having a fit. why is this $5 and other people are saying $50?

My bf3 multiplayer won't work-when a press a on the multiplayer tabs mostly it will freeze if it dosn't then it will take me to the map selection and stuff then the map might not load-it will normally turn into a black screen and keep flashing the austo
save icon and say loading. If it does though it will not show me my gun in-game and i can't fire I REALLY NEED HELP!!

COD map packs are typically just multiplayer maps...you can't select them and play them persay...just load up the multiplayer and the maps will be loaded into the que of avaialble maps
