    Gears 5 limited edition xbox one x startup and disc eject noises are gone.


    The Gears of War 5 limited edition console has a couple custom noises: startup, shutdown and disc eject have noises from the game/sounds of ice and wind etc. Since the latest xbox one update, these noises on my console now sound like any other console. Just the standard beeps. I have tried multiple factory resets, unplugging the power cable for 2 minutes, hard resets (holding the power button down for 30 seconds) and have tried every available option in the settings for startup chime. None of these has restored the original sounds.

    Has this happened to all of the Gears 5 limited edition consoles? How do I get those custom sounds back?

    Are you part of the insider program? This could be related to a preview update, if that's not the case could be that the customization files on the system have been replaced by the standard ones, in that case you won't be able to restore it, just Xbox repair services

    get essentially 5 games as well as a cool skin to use with Kait in Gears 5!
