Gears 5 doesn't appear in the Xbox Beta app

Hi,

I have a problem and it is very annoying right now.

Yesterday I had to put my hard drive into NFTS because it was on FAT and Gears 5 wasn't installing at all.

This morning I wanted to play, Gears 5 was installed on my NFTS drive, perfect until this point. I clicked to play in the Xbox Beta App and nothing happened. Just a little window saying "type Xbox in the research bar to improve the settings for playing"
but I have no idea then what to do. I closed the Xbox Beta App then and relaunched it. Gears 5 was not there anymore, when I select "games I owned", there is nothing even if I see 60 GB space used for it and when I connect to my Microsoft account on google
chrome, I obviously see in that I redeemed Gears 5 yesterday with a code. I can also see that I own the game in the Microsoft Store but can't install it because the space in my NFTS drive is already used by guess what... Gears 5 !

So I relaunched my computer, still nothing on the Xbox App. I uninstalled the App and installed it again, still no games owned...

If someone knows what to do or if it happened to someone, let me know !

Hi AlexisV1,

sorry to hear. Please check first if your system is uptodate via
Windows Update and (important) the Store APP. After that (a new installation takes time) I would like to rule out a network error as a precaution. If you are currently wireless, please use a cable and reset your router.

If all of this do not help, first try to repair/reset the game.

Select All Settings
Select Programs and Features
Highlight your game in the list of available programs and apps.
If your game supports repair, Repair will appear as an option above the list of games. Select this option to access the in-game repair process.

Alternatively, some games support repair via the Uninstall/Change options. If you don't see "Repair," select
Uninstall or Change from the available options and check to see if the game supports repair.

Note If there is no repair option available, check that you have backed up any in-game settings before continuing to uninstall and reinstall the game. Also make sure you have the media that you originally installed the game from, as you'll
need it to reinstall.
Select Uninstall or Remove and follow the instructions to remove the game.

Hi Alexis,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue with the game Gears 5. You state you have it installed on an external drive. We recommend disconnect the external HD, and try

install directly on your PC/laptop. Then after the install see if it still has the same issue.

Are you using the Xbox Beta app to install Gears 5? You need to use the Xbox Beta app, not the Windows Store app.

If none of the suggestions work, then try uninstalling the Xbox (beta) app, then uninstall Gears 5. After that reinstall Xbox (beta) app. That should hopefully fix the issue.

Gears 5 is not installed on my computer, so I can't delete it.

If you're talking about the Microsoft Store or the Xbox (beta) app, as I mentioned, I already tried.
