    i bought the game a week back on steam and installed it but it crashes at start up . i read people reporting an X-fi sound card problem but i dont have a sound card. if anyone has an idea what to do it would be greatly appreciated

    System Update

    It sounds like your on the insider's program . I have been having a lot of issues since the last update. It would not let me play gears 5. Boarderlands as you say has become stuttering and freezing. I hope the solve it soon 👍
    They released another update just now hopefully it fixes it.

    I haven't played a Gears game since Judgement, but since I started playing Gears Pop! I may be getting into the Gears bug again. But I guess I'll have to start with Gears 4 and catch up before 5 launches.

    Update not working

    I was playing Gears 5 and all of a sudden, a loading icon just popped up in the middle of my screen. I looked up what was going on and they stated that it suddenly crashed as the system update went out...thanks xbox 😡
