Gear of wars 5 no sound with wireless headset

Heya i bought GoW 5 ultimate edition couple of days ago.

When started it up and was going to play with a friend i dont get game sound at all.

Im using a Corsair Void Pro wireless headset and the game seems to not support the wireless at all , how come ? is it made like this and should be like this or is it anyway to fix it?

Ive tested around with a old headset thats plugged in on the back 5.1 and speakers and they get the game sound perfectly fine,

so how come not the wireless? It seems [Mod Removed - Profanity] if it cant handle wireless if released to pc, cause cant play it at all atm as it is without any sound at all.

Is it fixable or is it released this way and lost of money?

Sorry to hear it. Please go into the console Settings>Display & Sound>Volume. Click on Chat Mixer and set it to Do Nothing. Then you can hear game sound again.

Ahh ok google around alittle and saw that more with the same headset had the problem.

Its selected as defaulkt device sen i got it but i did test to change default to speakers and then back to headset,

i even tested switching usb port last time when tried to get it to work, but i did it again now after ur advice and it seems to work as it should and perfectly so far

I don't think it's Gears, from everything I've read in the past there is a known issue with Corsair Void wireless headsets not playing sound. I know that sometimes switching usb ports fixes the issue. Also you can
try setting it as your default sound device.

Go to Control Panel>Sound
Right Click the Void Headset in Playback Devices
Select “Set As Default Device”
