gamings bright side needs your help

Hi. You literally have no reason to read this but, I feel you may find it worth the read. If you are reading this you are likely what most people might refer to as a gamer. Seeing as I’m posting this on many gamer centric community websites I hope you are
a gamer. Now I am looking for gamers of any and all skill levels, from the most casual of iPhone gamers to the most intense WoW addicted or eSport ready, or speed runners. Who ever you are I am not just looking for you i am actually calling upon you and the
communities you may be a part of. I am trying to start a project, and no i am not some Kickstarter looking to fund my big new indie game, nor a professional of any sort, what I am is a gamer who wants to step out of the shadows.

By now I cannot imagine any of you have not heard of a school shooting, or a murder or some other crime or tragedy that at some point was not blamed on gaming, however I could be wrong maybe some of you reading this have never heard of a suspect in a shooting
being called out as an obvious killer to be because he played Call of Duty with his friends. So I’ll be brief and just say that it is quite often (very much so in crimes involving teens) that someones tendencies to play violent games means that the games are
to be blamed for encouraging or inspiring such violent action in the real world. Now this is an argument that has ben had too often in many major gaming circle and I do not want to have it here. I want to investigate the other side of the gaming story.

I want to start gathering your stories. Yes you! I am sure many of you have that one story where playing games kept you connected to a friend, or caused you to grow closer to a loved one, maybe you met your significant other through a game or gaming community.
I want to curate these stories take the best of the best and publish this.

So here is where I need to get a bit serious and remind you that if you are sharing this story you are okay with me putting it into a book (you will be fully credited, and I have no plan on using any story without some conversation with you first t really
get it ready). So feel free to start sharing and I’ll be in touch with you if i feel your story has what it takes. I invite you to spread my message to those around you, maybe your gaming life like mine has been a bit normal, but maybe you know some one who
has a great gaming story, reach out to them and ask them to get in touch with me. I want to help the fox news watchers, and mothers against violent gamings or whatever they call themselves to discover the brighter side, the positive side, the “i almost cried
reading this” side of what gaming can be. Here is where I will stop and allow you to begin sharing. I encourage any story no matter how big or small, the significant, or the personal. No story will be over looked. Thank you.

TL;DR I want to put together a book of stories comprised of positive gaming experiences to counter-point all the terrible stories where gaming is made out to be the source of violence and terrible acts.

Front light problem?

The light on my Kinect is unevenly bright. The left side of the Xbox logo seems to be a little brighter than the right side.
