GAMING SERVICES KEEPS INSTALLING / ERROR LOADING INSTALLATION LOCATION XBOX

Hello , XBOX has this issue that it keeps installing game services and then i cant change install location

yellow error without option : THERE WAS A PROBLEM LOADING INSTALLATION LOCATIONS. TRY AGAIN

I tried EVERYTHING , cmd to remove game services , reinstall , reboot , i did EVERYTHING and it didnt fix it

NOT EVEN 20 MINUTES AGO I FORMATTED THE DRIVE FRESH WIN 11 INSTALL

xbox worked for 2 MINUTES before it started it **** agait

now im stuck again without being able to get past gaming services dependency , cant change install location EVEN THO IT WORKED BEFOREI CLOSED THE APP CAUSE THE GAME I TRIED TO INSTALL WAS GREYED OUT( i already have it installed in the drive im trying to choose)

can ANYONE please explain me what the **** is going on thanks

SOLVED: Figured out that 2-3 days ago and up until today my gf couldn't load into slots casino on her phone through my wifi but could in her home or via 5g , resetted my wifi and the problem got fixed

Wasted 10 hours trying everything and format for this simple fix

edit 2

repairing resetting game services works for a second until you decide to install a game then the above happens again

edit 3 it only worked once its bricked now

edit 4 deleted xbox , gaming services and xbox live and odnwloaded only xbox , stuck with gray out button and i bet when i close the app its gonna happen all over again

Richie, thanks for the response. Unfortunately I have tried these suggestions but I tried them again...

1. I ran the Troubleshooter and it found no issues.

2. Gaming services cannot be uninstalled as the box is greyed out. The only way that I have been able to uninstall gaming services is via the Powershell commands.

I have also found that xBox app cannot identify the default install location under Install Options.

So I have 3 notable issues, Gaming Services will not install (Error 0x8007007e), Gaming Services actual services will not start (Error 87), and XBox app cannot identify default installation location.

go to settings and change storage location back to c:, then install the gaming services update, then change storage location back to wherever you had it.

the gaming services thing has to be installed on c:, if you have your default storage on another drive it errors, this gaming services app is that an app so will try to install to wherever the default storage is but it can only be installed on the system
