Hello,

I've recently begun running Windows 10 through Parallels Desktop on an ARM64 based MacBook Pro (Apple Silicon). The current version of ARM64 Windows 10 I am running is Build 21332 Insider Preview. Mostly it is problem free however, prior to the last update up from Build 21282, Steam was broken (now fixed), but "Gaming Services" and the Xbox app (and related games from the Microsoft store) will not install. They have not on the three builds of the ARM64 insider preview I've used, 21282, 21332 and another earlier build that I can't remember. Whenever I try to install any of these programs I get the following error, Code: 0x80073CF1, Message: Something went wrong on our end. Wait a bit, then try it again. The message is completely useless and has no meaning whatsoever as this issue has been persisting for nearly two months now so thats a pretty long wait time Microsoft.

Is there a fix for this that anyone is aware of?

typically you cannot execute 32bit and 64bit apps made for the x86 system on an arm processor, you would need the apps to be created to work with arm. steam was made to work.

this is why i stay clear of arm based systems.

What version of Windows 10 have you installed, and are you running on Windows Insider program?

Incompatible architecture. "ARM64" as mentioned above is my architecture. The Windows 10 creation media is 64-bit x64. Not only that, I'm running Windows 11 not 10. Games work, Microsoft Store does not. Is there not a link that I can use to download ms-store apps directly from a web browser?

Sorry to hear you are unable to install this game, unfortunately we are unable to find it when searching for it through the Microsoft store, is this the correct title for this game?

Also where did you purchase it through, was it through the Microsoft store or did you purchase it elsewhere online? If this was purchased through your account or you redeemed a code to your account you should be able to see the game on your account, take
a look at the following support article for help on installing games/apps.
