Gaming Service version from Windows Insider stuck downloading

Hi thanks for the Reply, Sadly that didnt work, I tried it 2 times. before i restarted my pc the first time Gaming Service tried again to Install now it wont show up in the update anymore and the option in the Xbox app isnt there too.

Another thing that came to my mind could be reinstall the actual insider version

I can advise you couple things to try it, but if the issue persists the best option would be reach Insiders subreddit and make the post there

Check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore

Then do this:

Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

Finally sign out from your account on the store and Xbox, restart your PC. Sign in on both apps and check if you receive a notification inside Xbox app regarding to gaming services installation

Apparently, it was something to do with "Windows gaming" preview program from Xbox insider hub. I opted out of it, then reinstalled windows services. Worked fine since then

Upd: gaming service version changed from 4.66.9001.0 to 4.66.2001.0. Maybe newer version is bugged
