    Gaming profile not appearing on adult account


    My sons xbox profile isn't appearing on the online privacy and safety settings. We want to change his settings to allow him to play online.

    Custom Gamerpic not allowed

    I keep attempting to add a custom gamerpic and a message keeps appearing prohibiting me from adding one because it is only available for adult accounts. The thing is my account is listed as an adult account, not a child account. My DOB is in September, 1999,
    so I'm 18 which means it should work. This is annoying because it impedes me from customizing my profile fully. Other than that it affects nothing, doesn't make me get permissions or anything. Please correct this Microsoft.

    How do I view my Xbox account settings?

    Hi there,

    is your account set for Adult content allowed or is your account an actual Adult account.

    For that last one please check your accounts Birthdate on the profile at
    https://account.microsoft.com/profile/

    If age wise it's not an Adult account then a parental account is required to change the setings at
    Sign in to your Microsoft account

    To be able to do that you should have registered your adult account as parent account of your child

    What happens when Adult 1 tries to load up the game?

    Does it give the message asking if you are sure you own this game or app and if so sign in with the account that purchased it?

    When the child account is accessing it is adult 2 signed in at the same time or is child account the only account signed in?

    If the child account can access it without the adult 2 being signed in that is very weird.

    If not then you want to make sure that adult 2 has that console set as their profiles home console.

    Once that is set then all the profiles should be able to play the game without account 2 being signed in.

    I can't change anything if the child account doesn't appear while logged in on the adult account
