Gaming Party 6 to 7 consoles (Xbox one and ps5)

It sounds to me, from what I have read, that it may be the router is limited and can't support multiple consoles....if it is an ISP provided one, then that is even more likely. When you consider how much you are demanding of it with 7 consoles connected to Xbox Live and then carrying party chat.Best thing to do is search for the make and model online to see if it supports multiple consoles...if it doesn't, then replace it with one that will (will need searching too as I can't find a list anywhere)...you could of course bridge your current router and use it simply as an access modem and then connect a new router to thatYou will be wanting to look at the top end routers though so could be quite expensive (but cheaper than a second phone line etc)....probably somethign from the likes of NetGear, LinkSys, maybe Asus, brands like thatFOund this list on a website..no clue how useful it is or how good the routers are:

Yea unfortunately it hurts me to say this but playstation isuch better this generation for one big reason no one talks about .... They keep there console cool I haven't seen one playstation fail yet but I've bought several around 6 or 7 Xbox series x and series s consoles that have failed after a little over a year of regular use where I've seen ps5s caked completely full of dust and stuff and never had an issue so hopefully Microsoft starts doing the right thing here

What's the maximum party size? If I'm online with 7 other friends, can we still create an 8 person party, and go into a public game, splitting up on two teams? Or is the party size maxed out at 6?
