    When I brought minecraft:java it also came with Mine-craft for win-10...... problem is I can't remember the Microsoft account I used to redeemed the code with... so is there a way to recovery it?

    the win10 and the xbox one version of minecraft are two different games, if you want to use it on pc you'll have to rebuy it.

    Is minecraft win 10 on Game pass for PC or only ultimate?
    Minecraft for Windows 10 is NOT on Game Pass. Only Minecraft for Xbox is. However, Minecraft Dungeons
    WILL be available on Win10/Xbox on May 26th.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing an issue with being able to install a game on your PC, due to not having the email of that Microsoft account.

    In regards to this, what I would recommend is viewing the
    Lost Account Solution     wizard, as it should provide for you different methods for attempting to recover your account.

    Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!

    This is the only game. However, I currently only own Gears and Minecraft through the MS Store/XBox.

    Also I do not have a console but am playing on PC/Win10.

    Is it only with this game that this happens? Is there any Win10 update to do? I had problems with some pc games and it was an upgrade on Win10, if not try retrying and installing the game again.
