Thanks for you reply but think the q9fn would be to big for a desk for me to work on everyday sitting about 2 to 3 foot away from it. that's why I was looking at the monitor around 27 to32in max

Hows the input lag? Thats one thing that i would def consider when buying a monitor. Esp if youre playing fps games like CoD.

As a bit of a tech geek, PC gamer and console gamer, one of the first places I check for information/reviews of hardware is YouTube. There are quite a few on there for the 27" LG 27UK650-W. This display does indeed support freeSync, and, more importantly,
FreeSync over HDMI - which is essential to enable this feature on the Xbox One console.

Now unless I'm looking at the wrong model, the Samsung Q9F screens are Smart TV's, not monitors, with the smallest starting at 55". They do support FreeSync over HDMI, but not sure the OP wants to go that big, or spend that much.
