Gaming Issue with Fortnite?

Are you having the same issues with other games? or just Fortnite?

You said that it works with the Skype app, just trying to understand if its an issue with Fortnite or all games (not apps).

Is anyone else that is playing Fortnite able to hear the game sound through their headset but not able to speak to them through the mic while playing the game? The mic works and isn't broken.

I have had this issue before and got it fixed after trying one of these steps.

Unplugging mic and plugging it back in, going into in game settings Turning off game-chat and than Turning it back on, If you are still having issues I will suggest restarting your console.

I have this issue all the time. My work around is to exit the game,switch off my controller, switch back on, launch game. Sometimes that works. Or in game settings set the voice chat to off and apply. The go to select game mode,go into other mode, select
game mode again and go back into BR. Finally go into settings and switch voice chat back on. Hope this helps

Fortnite is not on the game pass but Ultimate includes Live that Fortnite is using for online. It is a server issue or your internet issue. Have you contacted your local ISP?
