Gaming Connection Help

Hi, I've been playing Xbox for many years and haven't had too much of a problem. All of a sudden I can't stay in games, or the games are extremely laggy. In For Honor, I get kicked, as well as Rainbow Six Seige. In Titanfall 2, I get pings over 2000.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Also, my modem and router aren't that old.

Gaming connection speed

Sometimes having a good connection can be a bad thing too believe it or not, some games have a latency auto correction systems (some call it sniperfrog) in place that level connections out, so if you have a good connection and are used to the low ping
and someone joins a game you are in with a poor conncetion your connection will be handicapped whilst they get various other assistance to make them more competative, but unfortunately this is open to abuse as people use multiple devices on their network to
trigger the system, the last few CoD games are notorious for this and that's why you hear of people going 30-6 in one match 6-18 in the next then 29-7 the next, it's the system handicapping them as people with poor connections come and go, you also get host
disadvantage on some games too, with CoD games being another culprit for this too.

Sorry to hear about the slow network performance. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and provide the following information.

• Download Speed
• Upload Speed
• Latency
• Packet Loss %
• Wireless Strength (if applicable)
• Modem Manufacturer
• Router Manufacturer (if being used)

That information will help us determine the next best steps.
