    Gameshare issue


    Just wanted to report a problem I had. Yesterday was trying to gameshare a new xbox and was with support for about 2hours trying to figure out what my problem was. It appears that if you have a real name with special characters, you are unable to gameshare an xbox, it prefers only english characters. Not sure if this affects any other xbox features, but it was a weird one.

    It did eventually work when I changed my name to english characters, and I just changed it back after to what it was. But the error message I recieved when initially trying to game share “Unable to Connect to Service” had nothing to do with the problem I was getting. I got this problem over many xboxs.

    Yiu need to talk to him then if he's changing his home Xbox that's his issue

    Also if he ain't sharing his gold well that's his perrogative and yes it's separate from ganesharing

    The Home Xbox will only be removed on a device if we set it as Home Xbox again. It’s not normal for an account to be removed on a device without any changes.

    Nevermind, figured it out. Turns out my friend bought Xbox Live, not Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    no such thing as gamesharing, it is a home setting for 'the home'. it is for your main xbox so others in the house can use your games and live and so you can still play your games if you lose network access.
