Games won't launch without system restart on SX

I am having the same issue with The Outer Worlds. Saved the game and paused it for a quick break, when I came back the game had crashed. Tried launching the game again and it won't boot up. Restarted my computer, restarted the xbox (beta) app. Still won't
launch the game. It seems like maybe some type of licensing issue contacting the DRM system if its affecting other games as well.

I'm sorry you're going through this situation, I'll do everything I can to help you. Remember that this is a Microsoft community forum where we are players like you and in my case I am an independent advisor therefore I do not belong to Microsoft/Xbox.

To get to the point, I am going to leave you some steps to try to solve the problem you are presenting:

Unplug any USB devices.

Next, turn off your console completely and remove the power and network cables for at least 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and follow these steps:

Step 1: Press and hold the Eject and Pair buttons on your console.

The Eject button is on the front of the original Xbox One console, right next to the disc drive, while the Pair button is on the left side, directly adjacent to the disc drive, with a symbol that looks like ")) )" in it. . Note that on Xbox One X and Xbox One S, both buttons are on the front of the console, with the Bind button located directly below the Xbox button on the right edge.

Step 2: Release the Xbox button, but continue holding the Eject and Pair buttons for 10 to 15 seconds. Listen for two tones before releasing these buttons. The Xbox startup troubleshooter will appear shortly after.

Step 3: Select Reset this Xbox in settings and continue with factory reset.

Ok, I ran both the DISM and the System File Checker. Both ran without issue and closed immediately after running with no message, but no change to game launch. I also tried the Windows Store troubleshooter, which said it fixed an issue with hanging and crashing files. However, Halo still won't launch.

My laptop, TV and Smartphone work without that problem. I am sure that only Xbox SX have this problem.

Same here, my day one SX died in May due to a power supply unit failure and now my second SX that was replaced is now having these crashes. Started on August 1st after 60 plus hours in Scarlet Nexus SX version then RE Village SX after I completed everything in the game then Deaths Door SX will not even make it to the starting menu. It seems the only games I can play are ones not optimized for SX titles. Microsoft really needs to fix these issues because by this Friday i'll have my third replacement and honestly scared to even play anything on it.
