Hi. I live in Italy and I have xbox one from the USA. I would like to know if I buy a game from italian store, does it work or do I have to buy it from the states all the time?

Hello bud if it is a disc you can buy it anywhere in the world if it is digitally you just have to go and change your region to where ever you are living.

to my knowledge you would have to buy the disc from the US aswell.. so I would just get all the games digitally. so it would make it a lot easier for you to play the games you want.

As long as your Xbox One is set to your home locale ie Italy, then you should be able to purchase items from the Italian Xbox Store
