Games With Gold on 360 and One question

First off, I apologise if this is the wrong place for this forum post, but I figured it would be the best place to get an accurate answer from staff since the question is liked to the Games With Gold promotion on the Xbox One.

Okay, so, several friends and myself have been wondering the following question.

If a non-Xbox one owner decides to 'purchase' both/either Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and/or Halo: Spartan ****, from the following links on Xbox.com, with an Xbox Live Gold Account, would they retain ownership of those games, and be able to download and
play the FULL game in the event of only buying an Xbox One AFTER the Games With Gold promotion ends for this month?

In my case, I currently only own an Xbox 360 (elite and slim) but intend to eventually move onto the Xbox One. For me, on those links it states "Already purchased: 6/4/2014", but would I actually own the full games if I were to get an Xbox One in several
months?

Just to add to questions 1, the 360 Games with Gold games are yours to keep whether you keep gold or not. The One games require that you keep gold in order to continue playing them for free.

 

Question about XBOX One Games With Gold

I'm aware that on XBOX One, Games With Gold works differently then XBOX 360. If your Gold membership expires, you can no longer play your downloaded free Games With Gold on the XBOX One. However, my question is, if my membership expires, but after 1 month
I renew my Gold Membership, will I then be able to play my downloaded free Games With Gold or have I lost them forever once the membership expires?

If it says it's already purchased then you own that game. When you get your Xbox One, go to
My Games & Apps and you will see the games under Ready to Install. From there you can download and install the games.

 

Thank you very much for the answer Sniffles, for now, I'm going to leave this thread open, just to get some more reassurance, as said, on those links it says "Already purchased" yet in my purchase history, it shows no such thing. From what I've been told,
apparently they would actually need to start downloading on an Xbox One, for it to register as being purchased on my account.

 

Sure, as it's a new thing to Xbox One I haven't been able to test out purchasing from xbox.com and I don't have a second gold account so I can't really test this 'till next month. If what you say is true about having to start the download on an Xbox One
then the question comes up "Would this need to be done before the free period is up?"

What I would suggest is, if you have a friend with an Xbox One, sign in on their xbox and "purchase" it there if it allows you to (It might say already purchased). This may not be necessary or do anything but as GwG is new to Xbox One I haven't had a chance
to play around with different scenarios yet.
