    Games with Gold download fail - Xcom: Enemy Unknown


    Hi there,

    I'm having an issue downloading one of the free games this month (June 16) - XCOM: Enemy Unknown

    Initially the download starts and then abruptly stops, leaving a corrupt file. When trying to "Download Again" it fails instantly.

    I then have to delete the corrupt file to be able to download again at which time I restart this entire process with no success.

    I have more than enough space for the download.

    I have deleted system caches on all storage.

    Please advise.

    I have also download the last 3-4 free games with gold as well as purchasing separate titles with no problems to date.

    It may be an issue with the storage device. Have you tried moving the download to a different storage device?

    It may be an issue with the storage device. Have you tried moving the download to a different storage device?

    XCOM : Enemy Unknown an isometric turn based strategy game, there is another XCOM in development, that game is indeed a First Person Shooter. Think of XCOM : Enemy Unknown as a cross between Advance Wars and Command and Conquer and you will be a lot closer
