Games with Gold claimed but not working

I claimed the crew back in June 2016 with xcom: enemy unknown, I recently got the one and installed it. I go to play it and it says that it is a trial and not the full game. I have tried chatting to fix it and they referred me here after trying to help me
for about an hour. I know I claimed it and would like to continue playing. Please help me.

If you haven't claimed the game with gold during the period that it was offered as free with gold you can't do it now

Double check that you are signed in to the account which claimed the game on Games With Gold.

The Crew on the Microsoft Store, does it acknowledge that you own it or does it ask you to buy it?

Let us know if it shows that you've purchased it, and if not, we can take a deeper look.

Is it possible a different Gamertag on your Xbox One redeemed the game when it was available and was game sharing the title with your account? If there's another account on your Xbox One, try signing in with that and checking for the game.

 

it's not possible. I claimed it with my account on the 360 because I didn't have a one yet but knew I would get one. There was only my account on the console.

 

you have to have an active gold.membership because it is a Xbox one games with gold gane

 

No kidding? Why didn't I think of that? Maybe because it's in the title, "games with gold." I've had active gold for over a year.

Xbox.com profile that you've recently been playing The Crew. (The Achievements tab shows all games you've recently played and The Crew is there!) Were you able to get the game to work then or are you still in need of help?

I had a friend game share to me who owned it but just in case he moves his account, I'd like to get it on my profile. I still don't understand why it's not there because I claimed it when it was free.
