Games will not start

I have issues with launching some games on my xbox. Some games such as GTA V and Black Ops 3 work perfectly but some games such as Star Wars Battlefront and Fifa 16 will come up with the game art when i start it and straight after there would be a blank
screen for about 30 seconds. After that it would just automatically go to home and wont come up with any message or anything to say that my game has crashed or anything.

I have also tried re-installing them to my xbox but the issue still isn't resolved.

Help me please!

Game will not start

This goes back to my game error thread I made not too long ago (but I don''t know where in the forum that is now). Basically, Tekken Tag 2 takes about 8 tries to get it started, got sloppy response at times as well. Every possible error happens to not start
it including one where the Xbox goes to start it, stays on a black screen, gets kicked off Live and goes back to dashboard where it reconnects immediately. Even if the disc is in there it will know there's a game in there, just won't know its name so Join
Session in Progress sometimes fails. It also holds up app switching and system boot up (because the Xbox is supposed to spin up the drive at these times) if it's in the tray. This is the only disc that fails to start, even 6 or 7 year old CoD4 is still able
to get going.

Is this fixable or do I need a new copy? I've tried an uninstall and reinstall as suggested in the Game Error thread, game fails to start still happening

EDIT: And the drive makes all sorts of funky noises when I put it in there. Only disc to do this

The problem could still be with the disc. I have installed some games before (i.e. FONV, FO3,etc.) and they stopped working and my console is only a year old. The reason my FO3 stopped working is because they had laser burn. My FONV was having the same problem
as you. It turned out that FONV only had partial laser burn and every time I loaded my latest save and completed the little quest... It would crash. It didn't show on the disc at all for FONV, but I knew it had happened. The only way to get around it is...A.)Buy
a new disc, or B.)Don't ever play it again because it's not going to work. Some tips on getting around getting laser burn... A.)Don't ever move your Xbox with a disc in it, B.)Never tip it so its going up and down (it should be lying down all times), or C.)Don't
mess with the Xbox while the game is reading.

Have you tried holding the Power button in for 10 seconds to shutdown Xbox One and restart? It may be that the game console was turned off while it was trying to write a save and it may be corrupted.
