Games will not install

I can't install Forza or Peggle back. What went wrong I loaded up peggle, and Forza both needed an update after the newest preview update for the xbox. They will not update now, so now I am trying to reinstall them but they will not install now. I think
it is a download bug because it was fine before the xbox update, now it won't update or install.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it looks like you are trying to install Call of Duty Black ops 4. It would seem that while installing the game you are getting the error code 0x80070005. I understand how frustrating it can be to not be able
to play the game, so what I recommend we do is a Soft Factory reset. Please be advised that when performing a Soft factory reset it will ask you to re-download your profile so please make sure you have the correct information to download the profile. To do
the
Soft Factory Reset please follow the steps listed. Choose the option that says keep my games and apps. I hope this information helps resolve the issue, please let us know how it goes.

GAME WILL NOT INSTALL.

I bought call of duty black ops 4 two days after the release. I played it for about a week and then it wouldn't launch. I hard restarted and still nothing. Now the game says that it cannot install. I get the error 0x80070005. I have removed my profile, re-added
it. I have cleared my xbox and tried everything to reinstall it. I have over 1TB of memory so that's not the problem. I have reached out for help over a dozen times and still nothing. I'm pretty upset at this point.

do not tell me to go to the errors page and try what it says. I HAVE TRIED IT ALL. nothing is working.

 

Please try holding the power button on the console until it shuts down then unplug everything for 5 minutes.

 

Did that twice and still will not install

 

Downloading/installing or is it on a disc? The new update has caused slow connections and they offered this forums.xbox.com/.../1813386.aspx as a workaround. Not sure if it will help. Also link only works or those in the preview I think so if it does not
work sorry.

 

Also everything is digital, the problem is the new update until they fix it. I do not think I can install forza, I got peggle to work but not the other one. Every time their is an update something always goes wrong, because it is Microsoft and not Apple.
If xbox was apple their would be No problems.

 

Started a thread in the preview section and posted a link to this thread. To see if anyone else had/has same problem. Also the link I posted above basically said "Go into Settings, Preferences. Toggle the setting for "Allow Play To streaming" under System
& App." Not sure if doing that will help.

 

Being part of the preview program means you are getting dashboardupdates which are in beta status and may contain bugs and not fully working features. If you do not want to use software in beta status I'd suggest you better unregister from the preview program
and wait for the public and final dashboardupdates.

Nevertheless your problem may be solved by doing a system cache reset.To perform a system cache reset please hold the powerbutton for about 15 seconds. Keep it holding even when the one turns off. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and
then restart the console again.

Try to reinstall Forza after that.
