Games uninstalling themselves and won't reinstall

So multiple of my games have uninstalled themselves. The storage used amount appears to be the same. The games are disc and download based. I've tried reseting, powering on and off, just installing the games again. Which leads to next problem is when I tried
to install a game again, the installation keeps stopping every time I start it. I have no clue how fix this.

Games uninstalling themselves....

I had Dead Rising 3, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Forza 5 all installed. Last I played was Forza and that was about a week ago, but I use the Xbox on a daily basis for TV watching. When I went to load Forza today, it kept telling me that the game needed to
be installed and I couldn't figure out why so I restarted my Xbox a couple time and even took the game disc out once, but nothing seem to help. I hit the menu button while on the Forza app and it basically had the option to cancel the install despite me never
initiating one to begin with. There was no progress bar telling me that Forza was installing so after sometime waiting and not getting anywhere, I canceled the "install" that was currently happening, and began installing the game again. It was installing it
from scratch. It was taking a very long time, maybe around 2 hours to install. Even after installing the game would keep crashing at a certain point during a race (an issue I had before with Forza and I had to begin to install and not touch my Xbox until it
was finished to get around this issue), so I just deleted it and I am currently reinstalling the game. But I did notice that my other two games were also deleted.

This is very frustrating when you buy a product that doesn't deliver on some of the basic features that it promises (whether this is an Xbox/Microsoft issue, or an issue with the game and its developer). Here's hoping that the upcoming system update will
help fix some issues and not cause more!

Hi CT UNC,

When you are able to let's try a cold boot of the console by unplugging it for a full 5 minutes. Are you seeing these games being removed still, are you using an external hard drive by chance?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game or apps themselves?

check your Purchase History https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ and make sure it is showing there.

if it isn't there, did you purchase it on another account that had your Xbox set as Home?

on your xbox profile in my games and apps should appear when you select it will give you the option to install, use a pc

We recommend trying a power cycle
of the console, but if the problem persists, try doing a
soft factory reset of the console, reset and keep games and apps to help reset
the operating system.

Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.
