Games to play with wife/gf?

I know.....a question that has been asked many times over the years. I've never found an answer though.

Was wondering if anyone can recommend any Xbox One titles I could play with my wife. We're both in our early 40's and I would love to find at least one game we could enjoy together. We have Minecraft for the kids, but she hates it. I dont think she can
handle the fast pace of a FPS game. She's shown no interest in WoW or ESO when she's seen me play so I dont think an RPG will work either. She also doesnt care for Disney Infinity or Skylanders that I play w/the kids. The only game she's EVER played on
Xbox in our almost 20 years of marriage is Texas Hold'Em. I think she's open minded enough to give something new a try....I just need to find something that she can get hooked on so we can play together. Suggestions?

It would be a kinect game and I'd have my wife and her friends play. I would send my wife to the store and stay home and play it with her friends.

 

Diablo III RoS is a good one.

 

How about one of the Lego games? They're great fun.

 

Therefore Xbox One has very little games that appeal to your wife/gf. So honestly, I wouldn't recommend it right now until it has more games that appeal to your wife/gf.

Get a Wii U instead.

 

Just because she is female doesn't make her gaming choices any different to a male. She just might not be a gamer.

That said, the Lego games are pretty appealing to all non-gamers as a start.

 

The kids own all the Lego titles and those dont interest her.....neither did Diablo 3 when I used to own it. We also own a Wii U....but the games are so childish looking I dont expect any to appeal to her. The Wii U also has a very small gaming library
so far, so not many options to explore there. I guess I'll just need to keep hoping Xbox comes out with one eventually that will spark her interest.

I think this pretty much says it all. Until some decent card games come out on the One, it doesn't sound like she's very interested in video games. That's ok...

 

Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit are out on the One, maybe those will float her gaming boat.

 

"Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition" is not only one of the best games released on the ONE.

It's also Mrs Azrael's favourite game.

 

I would think she's not much of a gamer; that said, had you tried UNO on 360?

If you got a Windows 8 PC, you could try those games on the Windows Store. AlphaJax on there is a Scrabble clone, which is fun and it's free.

Do y'all have Kinect too, have you tried those games?

Edit: I almost forgot, how about Monopoly Family Fun Pack? Sounds like she's into card and board games.
