Games that played with your emotions?

Mass Effect, fable, elder scrolls, fallout, final fantasy 7. These are all games where you sometimes have a mission where a character's "life" is in your hands or a main character dies. Strategy games like fire emblem and xcom are different than other
games in that genre because in the other games like shining force when you lose a troop you can always bring them back. In fire emblem and xcom once you lose someone they are gone forever. Yes you can get more characters but you might lose a favorite person
you maxed out and spent hours playing with. And with one wrong move they are gone.

That bit in Spec Ops: The Line was pretty damn emotional.

The call of duty campaigns were pretty sad. Also playing the Halo campaigns made me pretty emotional.
