Game that need dymadic weather is every outdoor sports game. Because the weather can change durring the event. Every RPG in the plant need it too. Also RPG need dymadic season. Because going thought a avinchter to save the world season and time gose pass.
When played RPG now. it not realizical for that ganra.

Game weather reflecting real weather? Yeah, that will never happen. I miss the weather maps, too. Granted, I DON'T play MW3, but I think Cod in general needs to get more creative. Black Ops did a few things.

 

Imo the Best Dynamic weather to Date was in Sega's shenmue, the drive club demo's make a good second. Forza 5? it's a good looking game but I don't think the weather changes at all. Good topic and interesting to see someone else notices this

 

I would love to see it in a game like State of Decay and see how it effect the speed of the zombies, movement of vehicles and availability of supplies and resources.

I've always thought the same thing OP. I would love to see dynamic weather in multiplayer games like call of duty. There have already been some dynamic weather/lighting in football games. The one map in Battlefield has changing weather (whether you consider
it dynamic or not). But obviously any advancements would be impossible because Kaos thinks it is. There is no possibility of dynamic weather in future games because you don't know how to program it.

 

I would love a game where the world adjusted to the seasons.

Way back when I remember loving how Christmas Nights (into Dreams) on the Saturn would change backgrounds, objects, and sprites depending on what time of the year it was.

Surely with the technology we have today, we could go even further than that. Imagine racing in Forza and have the weather be what it actually is on the real world version of the track at that time.

 

I want it to snow on my xwing while I taking out the death star! On some games yes, on others will affect game play? Example Gta 5 had it snowing for Christmas but the cars acted like there was no snow. Good on the snow, could be GREAT to see us non snow
birds slip sliding away.

Skyrim would be interesting with changing seasons. It seems to be locked in autumn, I'd say. Changing seasons would make for challenges in winter, perhaps certain areas would be impassible, and swimming would deal damage. Different ingredients available
during different seasons. For a short time in summer, places like Dawnstar could green up a bit. Maybe somebody already made a mod like this for the PC, though.

The Harvest Moon and Rune Factory games of course really take advantage of seasons and weather.

 

I think every open world game should have this as well. I can see it for sports games as well, but an open world sandbox game would benefit from weather aspects like this.
