    So, i bought this Lenovo S145 3 years ago and it was running really well, i installed an 8gb ram and an ssd on this laptop, everything was buttery smooth until one day the laptop suddenly started stuttering a real lot, you cant identify the stutters while on windows completely but you can clearly see that it stutters even on the start button animation and others like scrolling on you tube shorts is really laggy. i remember that it wasnt this bad before. I was curious and then downloaded some games that used to had 60+ fps before. but now those games sadly even cant get to 40 fps and with a lot of lag and stutters. And ive also thought to update my display drivers and softwares thinking that it should run better now . But no. sadly its still the same as before .. i dont have a single idea my am i having this issue.. And i hope you guys should find the solution to this issue soon..

    What's up with that

    im on 20mb and some games are ok but most are laggy..so laggy i always think people are using a lag switch, its a decent game when it runs smoothly but unfortunately thats not very often, i dont know what happened to their servers just lately, up to mw2
    its been great for me..no lag at all but mw3 and ops arent good at all, hopefully ops 2 will improve.

    How do you connect to the Internet? Is it a DSL modem?

    DSL (since it runs over phone lines) has problems with corrosion on the copper reducing the ability to receive a decent RF signal; the less RF bandwidth, the slower the download and upload speeds...

    Going to the junction box ('network interface' in phone guy speak), removing the copper phone wires, using an India rubber eraser to scrub away corrosion on the wires, and putting them back on the same terminals they came from,
    may pick up that speed. Replacing the inside phone cable to the modem may also help.

    You may also wish to have a discussion with TalkTalk to see if they can increase the speed, and if so, at what cost.
