    Games stuck at 0% queued and not downloading on the xbox app


    I have tried everything including the ws reset, the PowerShell command, and the reset in settings.

    The only thing that seems to work is the PowerShell command although that just makes it so I can only download games that have no "administrator required for installation " or need gaming services and as soon as I download gaming services everything breaks again.

    I just recently got the Xbox pc game pass and all the games I have attempted to download just get stuck at 0% and say queued or preparing.

    edit: I keep getting error code 0x00000001

Are you getting an error message or code during the process? Also, have you tried uninstalling and installing the Xbox app?

    I had this issue around a year ago. I could tell you all the 10 steps I followed to solve it, unfortunately what helped me to solved this was to restart my PC as it comes here:

    In the part of Windows 10 click on "Reset this PC" these instructions will help you to solve the problem, you can even leave your important files!

    Can't reinstall game on Xbox Games Pass for PC

    Found the issue! There was an update to this game queued in the 'Downloads and Updates' section of the Microsoft Store. I think the update was stuck there in limbo, as I'd uninstalled the game. Downloading the update now - and now it shows up as downloading
    in the Xbox app.
