Games showing bad textures then freezing (Not a bad disc!)

I've recently bought 3 different copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, 2 of which were almost flawless, and after a few minutes of playing textures start appearing very broken (random colored squares, excessively bright and unrecognizable, everything is very
shiny, or just low quality) and shortly after the game freezes the Xbox completely. This only happens with Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 1. I've tried plenty of other games and this doesn't happen. When I try to install the games from the discs, no matter which
disc I use to do so, it always stops at 25% and says "The disc is unreadable".

It isn't the discs. I've bought 3 different copies of this game and each and every one of them does the exact same thing. I've tried clearing system cache, moving the Xbox to a better vented spot, and pulling out the hard drive to no avail. I suspect a broken
disc drive.

Any thoughts?

Apparently if you install the game to HDD it has bad textures and not installing it offers good textures. I installed and textures are bad, going to try uninstalling and seeing for myself after I play a few more hours. Rather bad textures than burn out
my lens.

 

Bethesda advises not to install game for now

I'm playing the game on disc and the textures look bad in some cases. It just arbitrarily worsens and gets better. Basically fluctuates.

Bethesda is going to release a texture pack like BF 3 did right?

 

Also worth mentioning is that the games work fine in other Xbox consoles.

 

Your console needs to be serviced. It could be a failing optical drive or a failing graphics adapter. http://myservice.xbox.com
