Games removed from my Xbox

What the previous user mentioned seems to be a solution that has helped many people who have had this same problem, Damon. You can log back into your Microsoft account on the Xbox anyway, you can follow these steps to see if your content here.

Go to account.microsoft.com and sign in.

You can also check transaction history:

Sign in to your Microsoft account. You may be prompted to enter a security code.
At the top, select Payment & billing > Order history.
For more details, select Details in the transaction.

You would have to download it thru your download history or games ands aoos menu as they would show as installable or not

You never goto the marketplace to redownload anything

This was not the case last time

Are you definitely using the account they were purchased/redeemed with, sign into your Microsoft account online and check purchase history.

As what I could understand with your issue. you're trying to re-download back a game that you claimed before while its a featured games with gold but unable to do it as it asks you to purchase it now. Well, what I could think of is that while it was featured
as a games with gold for that month, you have assigned another account as your home xbox so you where able to download and play the game back then.

You see, xbox does not remove/delete a game that was already added on an account's licenses. If you already own it, it will show as Already purchased with the date claimed. You could try to get in touch with phone or chat support to check your account license
but I don't think they could do something about it if it does not show under yours. You will need to purchase it to get the license and download it back on your xbox one console.
