    why Xbox blocks purchases from another region? Example :

    i want to buy some games like C&C red alert 3, L4D , and others .... Why i cant buy them ? i think u guys is losing money .... im from brasil ... And i just

    Want to spend my money on games i like but.. These games are regional locked ...

    No but you can use a Brazilian account and get xbox 360 Brazil content just not english

    Region blocks are put in place by the publishers/developers, not Microsoft. Reasons on why they're block can be varied but usually it's due to rules and regulations in the countries they are blocked in.

    Use of a VPN to bypass region restrictions violates the terms of service and would put you at risk for being banned.

    Soo even if i have a american acconnt and a valid credit card to buy will not work? its sad .... in the past the reddem from Codés like gift cards worked for some time but not working anymore ... Só there is no way to buy these games online ? Only discs works ?

    Right. In order to buy a region blocked game, your account region and your physical location have to match and you have to be in a region where the game is available. Otherwise, you would have to try to find them on discs.
