Games Pass games on PC, with steam

Initially, I played Destiny 2 on console, but earlier this year linked the account to my steam and began playing on PC.
Can I use the game pass (for the beyond light expansion) in conjunction with steam? or do I have to install the game from, and use the Xbox launcher from now on?

Any game i try on pc games pass like Palworld is not working,

but when i use a different application for games like Steam, the games on steam are working.

so it seems to me to be a pc games pass issue?

I understand, but you can add pc games to steam library even if purchased from xbox game pass. Steam is a game launcher as well.

PC game pass, it will be on the Windows Store, Steam, and probably other PC stores now and in the future.

As Sam said you need the Xbox app as gamepass is from xbox store NOT steam
