games owned on xbox one and 360 not showing up on the pc app

so i was feeling like playing some games i had on my old xbox consoles, so i installed the app. However, the only 2 games that showed up were cuphead and forza horizon 3. A small fraction of my collection. i want to know how i can possibly retrive the games or if i need to do something else. such as using a different app or something. please help. (this was my first time using the app btw and ive never played those games on pc.)

EDIT: i have an optical drive will inserting the discs help?

Only games that are Play Anywhere would show on the PC if you owned them on Xbox. There are no 360 games that are Play Anywhere. If other games are not showing, then they most likely are not either and you would need to purchase the PC versions on order to play on PC.

you would have to get game pass ultimate or purchase them on PC, 99% of games are not play anywhere and you have to purchase them on every platform you wish to use them on

Hi Francia, thanks for the reply. If I want to use the PC Xbox app, how can I look at Xbox One games instead of PC games? When I navigate to "Games I Own" on this app, it shows one installed game, called Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Based on this, I believe this application is showing me my PC games on the PC I'm on, not my Xbox games (like the name of the app would suggest). I am not interested in PC games at all, just managing my Xbox One library from my PC (or phone).

I have just checked, my app is still working, and searching on the Xbox one via store, it shows up in apps. As choppyseize asks, which are you using PC or console also 360 or One?
