    Games on series S keep crashing.


    I've been playing Code Vein recently and today the game stated crashing after about 3 hours of game play. Now every time I restart the game it crashes within 10 to 20 minutes. I've also started hearing the fan ramp up which is something I haven't heard since I've had the console so I touched it and it was extremely hot.

    Has anyone else had this issue? Is my console over heating because I'm not getting any message indicating that it is.

    I have all the same systems and all have failed minus the OG Xbox and Series X but that's still under warranty so I'd give it a few months before it joins them. 360 had red ring, xbox one disc drive failure, one x power supply failure, and now my Series S. I'm not paying $200 for out of warranty repair as Microsoft products have grown kind of stale. Time to try something different but thanks for your help.

    If this happens on the home screen means that the overheating is real, so the solution would be that a professional check the console hardware, we can't suggest other solutions because it's a hardware situation and requires hardware manipulation to be solved, and that can end in a bigger problem if it's not done by someone with experience

    That's strange, I Have Xbox 360, Xbox one Fat, Xbox one X and Xbox series X, just my One X had issues, but I replaced trough the out of warranty service and all of them are currently working

    Yea that's what I figured. 18 months old and my console is a brick. This is the 4th xbox I've had since 360 that's failed. Should have learned my lesson by now with Microsoft products and this will definitely be my last.
