Games not recognizing Live Account

Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the Xbox App?



Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:



1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.



2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.



3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*|
Remove-AppxPackage



4. Hit Enter.



Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

Are you referring to Game for Windows Live?

That has been a known issue for a while now and no further information has been shared on the status of this issue at the moment. Since games played on Windows has mainly been moved over to the Xbox app for keeping track of your game achievements and linking
your account to these games, Microsoft may be either performing maintenance to GFWL to keep up with the Xbox app or they could be integrating GFWL with the Xbox app altogether.

Yes I am referring to Game for Windows Live. So does this mean it's happening for everyone? Noone can log in at this moment? Or is it just me.

A couple of weeks back it used to work for me but all of a sudden I couldn't login on this account or any as it said the same error I tried to reinstall gta 4 and windows live but nothing worked so far so I could login and play as normal.:-(

I don't know my windows live broke it's strange I didn't play it for a couple of days it worked and I come back and it doesn't anymore.

I'll try do what it says in that thread then but it's not a connection problem it's just my account not wanting to log in there that's all I need.:-(

I'm not sure if it's happening to everyone but a while ago there where a few other threads about the same issue. If it worked for you a few weeks ago, the it may be going through a temporary service issue or maintenance.
