Games not lounches and not updates.

I understand that you are experiencing issues installing and updating your games.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please restart your device by holding down the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off, then unplugging the power cord for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.

And then check network connection. You should have a stable internet connection. To check on this please go to Settings > Network > Network settings> Test network connection.

Next is to verify that you have enough space for the installation and game update. Kindly press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select the Notifications icon.

See if there are any notifications about low or unavailable hard drive space. Xbox alerts you when you’re running low.

If there’s a notification about low hard drive space, you’ll have to either delete content to free up space or add an external drive.

Lastly is to check for System Updates. Your device should also be up to date. Go to Settings > System > Updates and check for any available updates.

Are you being prompted to download any updates at all? If you cancel any updates for your game, you will be signed out of XBL - you need to update the game to remain signed in.

If this is not your problem, try deleting and redownloading your profile as listed here:

support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Please try the following steps below exactly as they are written:

Delete your profile (profile only), clear your cache 3 times in a row, restart your console, and then try to download your profile.

Delete Profile Safely:



Go to Settings, and then select System.

Select Storage.

Select All Devices.

Select Gamer Profiles.

Select the gamertag that you want to delete.

Select Delete.

Select Delete Profile Only.



Clear System Cache, don't forget to do it 3 times!

Go to Settings, and then select System.

Select Storage.

Highlight Hard Drive, and press Y.

Select Clear Cache, and press Yes (Do this step 3 times in a row).

Restart Console

Download Profile:

Push the middle button on your Xbox 360 controller.

Select Download Profile.

Note: If you don't see Download Profile, press the blue "X" button on your Xbox 360 controller to sign out of any profile you're currently signed into.

We must give them credit for years long hard work they put into it after bad lounch. Ans yes, it is a great game now ever evolving.
