    Games not installing


    Ok so I bought the console recently and it came with digital download codes for ac black flag and ac unity and cod advanced warfare.

    I started playing ac black flag when it was about 65 percent downloaded, I got a bit through the game then it said it was only 78 percent downloaded, so I went back to the dashboard and it said the game was fully downloaded.

    I then did all the things the forums said to do, as in power cycle the xbox one, disconnect and reconnect the internet. Nothing worked so I uninstalled it. I am now trying to reinstall it and it just says installing with no percentage bar. It's been like
    that for over 12 hours now and nothing has changed.

    Any ideas?

    Did you check to see how much space you have left? If there is a lot of space left try turning off your console and unplugging it. Press the power button for 30 seconds then plug it back in and see if the issue happens yet.

    That is true, it may be an issue with the servers. The Xbox One seems to be up and running without any issues at the moment. Please try again.

    Also, if the console is connected wireless then try an ethernet cable to see if that helps.

    Finally, if you have a friend who lives nearby that has disc versions of the game you can install from the disc and the licenses will just be transferred over the the digital game.

    Hello Megan,

    Thank you for keeping us updated. Is this game a digital download, or a disc game? If it is a disc game, the disc could be faulty if used. Let us know this detail and we will do our best to help you out.

    I would also test out your console to see if it is capable of completing downloads. Cancel the download for the cars game. You can then try downloading a demo, or a free game like fortnite.

    Curious, how long have you let it sit at 40%? I've had games do this occassionally, and I'll see it sitting still when downloading and not progressing. I've honestly just left it and did something else, and came back later (maybe a half hour) and then
    it would be moving a little again. I'm not sure if maybe the specific file it's downloading at that time might be larger or how it works, but I've done that before. I would let it sit for a little bit and see if it moves, but if it's not moving after 30-60
    minutes then yes try more troubleshooting. Good luck!

    Although you have stated that you have already redeemed the code, I would just like to make sure you are doing it on the right account first, then, if you are, please go to https://redeem.microsoft.com/ and type
    in the code, from there it will tell you if the code is valid or not and you can proceed on to redeeming it. I am really sorry that this is being more complicated then it should be for you! I hope you have a great rest of your week!
