    Games not installing or very slowly installing.


    I just got my new XBOX ONE and entered the code to download the game that came with it, HALO: Master Chief Collection, and it's only 10% installed, and it's been installing for several hours now!!! Also, I tried installing Madden NFL 15 but that really wouldn't
    install either. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HD textures install order.

    First time I recall seeing a HD texture pack install....installing it now after already installing disc 1 and 2. It's installing slowly...Does the game have a disc swap in the middle somewhere? Can't wait to play this game..

    I've been trying to update overwatch for 3 days and fortnite for 2, fortnite is slowly installing by a few mbs each time the console is turned on however overwatch is not updating at all and it keeps saying "installation stopped"

    The Xbox Live Service is experiencing difficulty signing-in Xbox Live accounts on 12/25/14. Hopefully things will be fixed soon.

    When I installed Halo: MCC, it took several hours to download the updates, but the wait is worth it. The Master Chief rocks on the Xbox One !!

    i'm having the same problem too with downloading, it's been hours and COD is just at 61%.

    Hello, ShOrKiwu. Thanks for reaching out! My name is Lucas, and I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user just like you. I'll be happy to assist you today.

    Try these steps please:

    Pause all downloads and close the Xbox app.

    1. Click on Start > Type PowerShell > Open PowerShell as administrator.

    2. Enter this command -> netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

    After that, unplug all the cables from your router. Wait a minute and plug them back in.

    Then, click Start and click Settings.

    Select System.

    Select Apps & features.

    Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.

    Click Reset. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect.

    If you're using a Proxy or VPN, please disable it:

    - Press Windows Key +R. Type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings. Uncheck the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box. Click Ok.

    Launch the Xbox app and see if something improves.

    What a frustrating day. Went to install the game, had to update console. Connection issues made that a problem, had to sort them. Finally update downloads very, very slowly, and then I can finally start to install the game, before I have to get dinner ready.
    Blast it all.
