    Games not Installing from Microsoft Store


    I have been having an issue with the Microsoft Store where I cannot install any games. When I click the install button on any game, it goes from green to gray, and no action is performed. I, instead, tried to use the Xbox App to install the game, however, the Xbox app is stuck on the launch screen with the message, "Launching the Xbox App."

    Here are some of the troubleshooting methods I have tried to no avail:
    - Made sure there is ample space on the (CGames not Installing from Microsoft Store :) Drive
    - Repair and reset the Microsoft Store and Xbox App

    - Delete the Xbox App and reinstall both from Microsoft Store and Microsoft website
    - Ran the wsreset Command in the Run app
    - Gaming Services Repair Tool
    - Delete and reinstall Gaming Services
    - Ran the "sfc /scannow" command in the Command Prompt

    - Various Command Prompt and Powershell scripts I don't understand from other help threads for similar issues

    - Some other methods I have probably forgotten by now

    It is really disappointing that after so many hours of searching and troubleshooting I am not able to resolve, from what it seems, a fairly common issue.

    If anyone has any suggestions or different methods to try it would be greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried a push install from the Microsoft store page for the game, or using Microsoft Store on a PC and select install to device?

    I don't understand how you're trying to install Microsoft store from the Microsoft store. If you already have the Microsoft store, then you should be able to install games on your PC. Or do you mean the Xbox App?

    Have you already installed the game? Try to open or install the game from the Xbox app instead, not from the Microsoft Store.
