Bought and paid for baldurs gate 3 and elden ring, have clips of the game being played last week, now it says I don't own either of them, not in my order history, but the elden ring shadow of the erdtree PAID DLC is there, now why would I buy a dlc for a game I apparently do not own and now can't get a refund because it was last year, ( or too many hours but customer support would've realized how dumb that looks) trying to return dlc for a game I "dont" own but have too much play time on it to be return eligible contacted multiple times and no helpful response, I have not game shared profiles with anyone

(Last representative I spoke with vehemently told me that was the issue)

Temporary access can occur through events like Free Play Days, shared content from another account, use of a physical disc, or if the game was included in a subscription service like Game Pass. However, these scenarios do not reflect actual ownership.

Although having recorded gameplay videos or unlocked achievements suggests you’ve played the game, these do not confirm that the game was purchased. For a title to be officially recognized as owned, it must appear in your Microsoft account order history. Since the game doesn’t show up there, I’m sorry to say it is not currently owned on your account.

Did you use a credit card to purchase the game? If so, you can try to investigate the charge using Microsoft’s online tool to determine whether the purchase was made under a different account.

Here’s how you can do that:

1. Use your account to sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments.

2. Under "Don't recognize a charge on your bank statement?", click Investigate.

3. Enter the credit card you believe was used for the purchase.

The system will display all transactions made with that card across any Microsoft accounts.

4. Click on the transactions that show purchases for these games, then view more details.

5. You’ll see a partially masked email address associated with the purchase.

6. From there, you can check if the email looks familiar or ask other members of your household if they recognize it.

The problem has gone away now. The advertisement video began running and the game challenge(s) would load. Just one of those little mysteries of life, I guess.

Well now it's 575000. And yeah the mysterious bid is gone. I don't think I would spend 500k+ on a out of country buy.

Howdy folks,

So Microsoft is currently investigating where all the gamme addons have gone. Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon and we can start handing our money to them once more.
