    Games lost after getting new Series X


    I have had a Xbox One S for a long while and have gotten around 30 games on it, recently I bought a brand new Xbox Series X and signed in with no problems. Later I decided to check my library to see if there was any games might want to install, I immediately noticed that I only had around 7 of the 30 games still in my library.

    I at first checked the store and it said that I didn't own any of the games on the account, but it was the only account on either Xbox so it could not have been a different account. I also logged out and logged back in, and it still didn't fix it. I then looked on my Xbox app on my phone and too had the difference in games where only 7 of the 30 games were in the library but when I view the Xbox One S it has all the games on there.

    I'm pretty clueless right now so any help would be much appreciated .

    I did some digging and found out how to do a network transfer so it fixed the problem.

    No, I don't have an external HDD and most I games I bought and they where still was available to play with cloud. I believe it to be a syncing problem but I have tried to log out and log back in several times and factory reset the Series X and it still did the same thing. I am currently just using the Xbox One S as my games are still on there and purchases I've made from the Series X still transfered over so it may not be a syncing problem. Currently I am going to leave it alone and call Microsoft to try and see if they can do anything for Me.

    Hi James,

    important is only the section 'All games'. If you download or play a game in the cloud it will appear in the 'Owned games' section.

    Btw do you have an external HDD connected to your One S ?

    Will my digital Xbox One purchases be usable in Xbox Two (Project Scarlett or Whatever You Call It)?

    And even after the new console is out and if you still have the one X they said something like if you buy a digital game that is on both consoles when you upgrade to the series X that digital game will update to the series X.

    I think it's really a matter of choice. The good news is that all games released on the Series X will be available on the One X so you can get the One X now and when you're ready upgrade to the Series X and all those games go with you. But if you really
    want the new console then go for the Series X.
