    Hi,

    I have an Xbox Series S all-digital edition and I have played about 10 times and each time the game will crash at random times - I usually get frustrated and turn it off. One of the games crash since it's offered on Game Pass ("Persona 5 Tactica") so I use cloud play instead of local installs. There would be no point in resetting the Xbox b/c I've had it for literally 6 days and installed all games from the "Owned Games" section of Library. All updates applied, no dust (on a week old system), proper ventilation, never been dropped that I know of, and I have no way to return it to the store.

    I read up on the specs and surprised they still use spinning media in 2024. I'll put my money on disc with defects, but it's brand new - what else could it possibly be? And what is the process for RMA?

    Try a hard reset of your Xbox. If that doesn't work then reset your Xbox to Factory Defaults.

    I'm almost at Level 22 now and had no freezing problems, only issue I sometimes get is I lose the sound of my weapons firing, have to save a quit and load it back up! To those having issues, have you tried clearing the system cache to see if that helps?
