Games I hate that you love

Hehe I like all of those except I haven't played bayonetta....

 

'Never had a desire to play any AC's, and I agree on Oblivion. The leveling system sucked. There was no point to leveling, especially since you could blaze through the main storyline and beat the game at level 8. Skryim was a big improvement'.

Oblivion's leveling was hugely in-depth and interesting, unlike Skyrim's, and your point on leveling being unnecessary applies equally to both games.

Kinda agree an ac. I think 4 was my last one. (Unless Co op is good)

As for bioshock I think that it was a little repetitive but had great atmosphere and story.

I never said I 'liked' Skyrim's leveling, I just said it was an improvement over Oblivion, which is kind of a given, since it came after. I'm mainly referring to the effectiveness of leveling. Skyrim baddies weren't all created equal like they feel in Oblivion,
they all had they're own min/max to start. You still needed to level to take on giants for example. Nice try at what, getting you to agree? I wasn't after that.

 

Never thought much of Bioshock, Assassin's Creed and Half-Life 2 myself, but Oblivion I thoroughly enjoyed and Bayonetta I haven't played, although I do plan on renting it next time I'm at the video store.

 

All of those games are great IMO. A popular franchise I don't like is Halo. All of the guns are like "pew pew pew" feeble and I've never understood the hype. I'm not a massive FPS fan, but at least I can understand why someone would play Battlefield 4. Halo,
well, I don't get it at all.

The worst popular games IMO though, are the ones from Quantic Dream. I bought Heavy Rain and it was like a terrible B movie filled with plot holes and screen tearing. If it was a film, it would be a straight to DVD bargain bin effort that would be slated
by critics, but because it's a game, it gets a pass, even though it's not even good as a game.

 

I just think that if you don't know how to finish a game or find it difficult, then obviously it's a terrible game.

Those are still around where you live? I don't think I've seen one (where I live) for at least 2 years now.

I love all of those games.

 

Loved the original Bioshock.

Bayonetta is the best game within it's genre in my opinion, I have beat it on all difficulties on Xbox360 (and I did it the hard way, without the equipment that apparently made it easier) if you are a fan if hack n slash you WILL be a fan of Bayonetta.

 

I am a fan of the hack and slash genre, but not a fan of Bayonetta.

To be fair I only played the demo and the opening of the full game but even then I knew the game wasn't for me.

It felt more like a memory game where I had to remember a massive list of button presses in order to pull of combos.
