    Games From Xbox Gold No Longer Work


    Hello, I have multiple games that I have downloaded from Xbox live gold on my Xbox one, and when I try to play them, it tells me to reinstall it from the store, and when I do that it just tells me to reinstall the game again and I can no longer play it, the games also do not work on Xbox for Windows. I have no clue what i should do to fix this.

    Hey same thing happened to me but I have a subscription till august 17 and it’s saying I need to buy game pass ultimate but I have it and I can play my other games except the games I got from gold

    Do you have a current Xbox live gold or game pass ultimate subscription? You have to have a current subscription to use your games with gold

    Hi,

    The 'Games with Gold' titles require a standard Xbox Live subscription to work. When you end Ultimate and go back to standard Gold they will continue to work as they did before. Any games you download from Game Pass will no longer be playable.

    If you got the game from Games with Gold and no longer have gold you can no longer play it, however, if you resubscribed to gold you would be able to play it again.
