Games freezing up in game - however doesn't crash console

Does the game tend to crash/freeze/lock-up at the same moment? Or is it sporadic?

Game freezing can be somewhat unpredictable, and hard to resolve (especially in older and BC titles that are outside of the development cycle). Sometimes it's the console that causes the problem, if I get game crashes or freezes I try to power cycle the console
and I usually have a good response with that. Give it a shot!

Anyone ever realize how it is ONLY Gears of War 3 that freezes your entire console? Every other game that does that if you hit the guide button you hear it pulling up but it doesn't do anything so then it freezes the console. But with Gears of War 3 it doesn't
even make the guide pulling up sound. It is a complete console freeze. Come on Epic Games learn how to make a game that has NO issues with the console freezing or massive lag.

Without your trick the game freeze while the plain is still in the Air, with your trick the game freezes once the plane lands. It doesn't solve the Problem.

UI doesn't freeze nearly as much as it used to. Also, games don't seem to crash at all any more.
