Games freezing and stuttering on 2017 prebuilt

I have this prebuilt that I got back from 2017. I upgraded it with a SATA Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB and two 8 GB sticks of Corsair Vengence RAM.

Just over the past year I've been having some performance issues with it in games that I never had a problem with. Games will freeze and stuttering and significantly drop in frames in areas with a lot of geometry.

Most notably this happens when loading in new areas. I can send any information and diagnostics or try whatever might diagnose a potential issue, I just don't know where to begin because its been the same song and dance for a while now.

I've reinstalled windows 10 after getting stuck with windows 11 insider builds and I don't really notice that much of a performance increase. Essentially I'm just looking for guidance. I was planning on building a new computer anyway but would like to see if there's anything I'm missing with this one that could be causing such performance issues.

I have all the metrics in view hopefully you can see them well enough

its way worse in certain areas and happens across games

Running games at the lowest possible settings at 1080p

All drivers have been updated BIOS GPU CPU everything

I don't think my monitor supports gsync

There are many factors related to game stuttering. One of them is your hardware condition. Overheating machines, underpowered GPU, inadequate RAM, and CPU bottleneck are all likely to cause stuttering during gaming. In this case, you need to update your hardware device.

Apart from that, system settings and software settings affect your gaming experience as well

Its a process of elimination, i would google some fixes for pc stuttering on youtube.

Thank you for the detailed information.
I watches the video you send and it looks like the game is actually crashing. I think it was fallout that you where playing, which is a buggy game.

Please tell me are all games doing this?

Also are you running games at what resolution and graphic settings? If gsync enabled? Are all softwares updated, drivers etc and games.

This a long process of elimination for pc game it could multiple variables.

I would also ask of you could watch jayz2cents youtube videos on what causes stuttering and freezing.

If the game us freezing it could be corrupted files, or a bad hard drive.

Lots of variables.

The pc specs you have a old yes but quite caperble of playing older titles at lower res and grahpics.
