Games for Windows Live won't download

Games for Windows Live was retired in August 2013. While installed games should still work, you unfortunately won't be able to redeem new codes or download games through the service.

Sorry, games purchased on a physical disc that have the Games For Windows LIVE marker need to be installed from that DVD. If you don't have the DVD anymore you won't be able to install that game disc using just the CD Key. Only games purchased digitally can
be downloaded from the Games for Windows LIVE marketplace client.

GFWL Support forums here.

You'd have to check for it on the Windows Store and download it there. it won't automatically show in your Games.

Xbox One games run on the bespoke Xbox One OS not in Windows. You won't be able to buy a typical PC game and download it on your console. It won't work like that. However, we could get to see Windows 8/10 apps and games that are available via the Windows
Store also running on the Xbox One platform.

Well no as you are beyond the point of refund

Btw games for Windows live has been shut down for a very very long time

As far as availablity goes you have to Contact steam as they provide the content for games for Windows now

Content isn't promised forever and since you are talking about an out of print and support product

The games for Windows widget won't work as it's is shut down

You need to download the stesm launcher
