Does your account region match your actual region if not that would be why

For the best exp with live it has to match

If you have virgin broadband or skybroadband they have known issues due to the routers they use

Bt hubs has to be uupgraded

Skybroadband has to have a hard reset and contacting

Xbox Live Gold Discount Error

I have a full gold subscription it just wont let me buy games with golds discount and it wont let me download games that are free with gold either.

Download wont even start for me. It is this month's free game with gold. It is the 16th here. Wont let me start the download. Keeps asking for credit card even though it says free. I'm a gold member not sure what the problem is. Maybe to early? But
shows the game in the search engine and says free.

 

yea my region is same i have had no problems downloading stuff in the past it just started last month with bioshock and this months games wont download

You have been asked several times but still do not answer about what ISP you use and the make and model of your router and modem. If you would finally answer this question, it might lead to a solution.

Well virgin usually has issues because of the type of connection or modem they use

Usually bt hub

Ypur best option

Hardreset your modem and router for 5muns if that fails contact virgin and mention you cannot download large files

With sky or virgin they seem to have issues with large downloads only but not small ones like arcade games

A college of mine in ambassadors had the same problem

Solved by the hard reset

Quickest solution goto a friends house with a different isp and download it

You may also consider checkinf your geoip by doing a whois on yourself

 

I'm having the same issue. it started with Bioshock Infinite, now Gears Judgement. I'm in the US and region is fine. I use Comcast and have Arris TG862G modem. Download speed is 20Mbps. I am hardwired, not using wireless. Xbox One on same connection
is not having any problems.

I've cleared system cache, updated modem firmware, etc....

 

I contacted xbox support via chat and they confirmed this is an issue being worked on. They don't have an ETA. They had me do 2 things: 1. Delete/reinstall my profile on the 360, 2. Initiate the download from xbox.com. I was able to download Gears
Judgement successfully after that.

These games are region locked and not every situation applies

(yes it is confirmed region locked you dont know if these people have matching regions it is not good to give them false hope )

 

iam on virgin media ive downloaded other stuff from xbox live no problem.its only this month and last month ive had problems ive tried everything unpluging both internet and router tried the region thing tried opening ports tried clearing cach ive tried
everything to no succsess

 

So is this a Microsoft issue? Is it regional or global? I'm having similar issues.

 

Again you cant lump every issue in one becauze you do not know that it isnt an region issue for the others

And yes not everyone has the same region
